Jelsa is close enough to be easy and pretty enough to deserve the trip. Come for coffee, groceries, dinner, a walk by the boats, or a small change of scenery.

It has the useful things without losing the island feeling: cafés, restaurants, narrow streets, harbour light, and that pleasant sense that no one is in a terrible hurry.
